It was a cold morning on Saturday - about 24 degrees. The skies were overcast. This did not deter our riders. Roger Harrison had cleared the
track for three days. It was pretty clean, although a little slick on the southern (shaded) end. The riders assembled at 10:00 AM. We heard the National Anthem. We then conducted a neutral lap while listening to the Indiana Fight Song. Then...the race was on! 60 + riders rode around the track for six hours. In the end, we raised $2,000 for the American Cancer Society. Most riders achieved a PR for miles ridden outside in the month of January. Thanks to Roger Harrison, Paula Burton, Barb Sheehan and the many volunteers who made this event possible.
