7/17 Results from Sunflower State Games

Great weekend of racing! Friday we raced a time trial - 5.9 miles. The course was clean and smooth. It had a hill before the turn around. The hill appeared large when you were going as fast as you can. The return trip was with a slight tailwind.

The Sunflower State Games Criterium was a 1.5 mile loop on Forbes Field in Topeka. The course was smooth with two wide turns and two tight turns. The temperature was very high. There was a headwind on the back stretch. No shade on the course. Though Shawn Smith did an awesome job setting up two tents for our team to use for warm ups. Ladies 4 1. Sean Morelli 2. Jen Smith 3.
